Movies With The Best Slumber Party Scenes
One of our favourite parts about being a teenager was spending the weekend at our friend’s houses. A group of friends, gathering together for a night of what usually ended up in a combination of mischief, Maggi noodles and movies. Looking back, we have fond memories of jumping into our not so elegant pyjamas, unfortunately Dandelion’s pure cotton jammies weren’t around yet, and watching our favourite films. On the other hand, if you were one of the few who weren’t allowed to spend nights out, then relive those times with these movies that feature our favourite slumber party scenes!
Grease
There is no party like a Pink Ladies party. Think curlers, cigarettes, peer pressure, a musical solo and lots of girl talk! The slumber party in this movie is iconic and one of the first ones we ever watched. The original mean girls, the Pink Ladies make Sandy smoke, drink and even pierce her ears! Though it wasn’t the nicest thing to do, we couldn’t help but watch.

13 Going On 30
The complete opposite of the Pink Ladies, in 13 Going On 30, Jennifer Garner sits in front of a group of 13 year olds and shares the details of her first kiss. We love her matching pink cotton pyjamas! The scene ends with the girls dancing to Pat Benatar’s Love Is A Battlefield, which is exactly how we’d like all our slumber parties to end.

White Chicks
Now this slumber party is slightly R-rated but is so hilarious, we always end up in splits after watching it! This party has hair braiding and some other fun stuff that we’ll let you watch for yourself.

Princess Diaries 2
There really can’t be a slumber party that is more fun than what Mia throws in this movie. The party is held in her palace and features mattress surfing, roller blading and matching pyjamas. The scene ends with the elegant Julie Andrews gracefully surfing down the staircase on a
mattress, in her pyjamas!
